Therapy for the mind and the body

Being able to rely on a scientifically validated non-chemical treatment is a treasure, whether you need simple general relaxation of the preoccupied mind or a therapy of a broader mind and body.
Comfort, breathing, relaxation, listening and memory are some of the pillars on which the therapist's treatment is built.
The patient's confidence in his or her choice of sophronic therapy is the first element of this treatment process. The respect that the therapist expresses to the patient, is the second and the softness of the path towards deep relaxation is the third. The feeling of reconciliation with one's own resources, are some of the complementary axes of this therapy.
The spheres involved are the nervous and the physiological, because with a little research we find that these two are often complementary in the patients' accounts.
The total duration of each session (by appointment) following the general history is a maximum of one hour divided into three phases:
- First phase: review the previous session and the achievements it has allowed to record,
- The second phase of the session is essentially focused on relaxation.
- Finally, phase 3 highlights the elements that the second phase has allowed to acquire.
At a distance treatment, the adult patient sits down in a quiet room of his/her home, allowing him/her to lie down on his/her back to relax and let him/her be sophronized and accompanied by the voice of the sophrologist.
Finally, the sophrologist wakes up the patient very calmly, to enter into a verbal exchange in order to take notes of the situation during the third phase of each session.
If the patient is a child, we suggest that for example his or her father or mother be present, sitting one or two meters away from him or her, in the same room.
